Other revenue is derived from the construction of pipelines and/or water reticulation and power reticulation projects. Our staff are well trained and experienced in all type of pipeline construction including PVC, HDPE, asbestos cement, steel and GRP.
A few of our notable pipeline projects include:
- Installation of twin 550mm welded HDPE pipes under the Embokodweni River. This included welding the pipes, dewatering the river bed and diverting the river, handling and laying a continuous 300m length of pipe with concrete anchors all in a very short period of time
- Installation of a 700m length of 500mm diameter HDPE pipe underneath Lake Cubhu. The actual installation procedure of the pipe with concrete anchors took 2 days.
- Installation, commssioning and testing of 12km of 400mm to 600mm diameter GRP pipeline.
